⇒ Destination Overview

Our agency is your gateway to learning about the most significant aspects of Morocco. Our website offers readers the chance to learn more about Morocco if they are considering a trip there. We provide you with the Merzouga Sahara Desert, Marrakech, Casablanca, Tangier, Fes, and many more places to travel.

Fes:

Established during the eighth and ninth centuries CE under Idrisid rule, Fez initially comprised two separate, competing communities. In the early ninth century, a series of migrations, primarily from Ifriqiya (Tunisia) and al-Andalus (Spain and Portugal), infused the emerging city with its Arab identity.

Ifrane:

Ifrane was conceived as a colonial-style “hill station” town, serving as a retreat for Europeans seeking respite from the scorching summer temperatures of Morocco’s interior plains. Renowned for its altitude, Ifrane is a popular destination for altitude training.

Ziz Valley:

The vast Ziz Valley, also known as Ziz Gorges, originates approximately south of Rich in the Middle Atlas and extends about 30 kilometers north of Errachidia. This rugged landscape offers a southern passage through the Tunnel du Zaabel, constructed by the French in 1928.

Merzouga Desert:

According to legend, Merzouga was once a lush tropical jungle until it was transformed into a desert as divine punishment for families who refused to help a needy woman, buried beneath the sands of Erg Chebbi. Initially uninhabited, Merzouga later became a key stop for traders traveling to Timbuktu.

Todra Gorge:

Located in Morocco’s eastern High Atlas mountains near the town of Tinerhir, Todra Gorge comprises limestone river canyons, or wadis. Carved out by the Todgha and nearby Dates rivers over millions of years, these imposing cliffs stretch for the final 40 kilometers through the mountains.

Dades Valley:

This valley is a geological marvel, believed to have been submerged beneath the ocean millions of years ago. Eventually, tectonic forces pushed the area upward, giving rise to the Atlas and Jebel Saghro mountain ranges.

Ait Ben-Haddou:

Historically home to over 98 families until the 1940s, Ait Ben-Haddou’s Ksar now hosts only five families. One of these families converted their dwelling into a coffee shop, offering visitors insights into the lifestyle of the original inhabitants.

Marrakech:

Established in the mid-11th century by Ysuf ibn Tshufn of the Almoravid dynasty, Marrakech served as the Almoravid capital until its conquest by the Almohads in 1147. Subsequently, the Marnids, whose principal seat was the northern city of Fez, assumed control of Marrakech in 1269.
