Day 1: Welcome to Marrakech
We start our Morocco 10 day itinerary from Marrakech. You will see the main sights of the city, including the well-known Jamaa el-Fna square, the Koutoubia Mosque, the souks, palaces, and museums. We will also visit neighborhoods such as Majorelle, Gueliz, and the Menara Gardens. You will have the opportunity to explore the city at your own pace after lunch. Night in Riad/Hotel
Day 2: Marrakech | Ait Ben Haddou | Ouarzazate | Dades Valley | 5 hours, 47 minutes (331.2 km)
The second day of the Morocco 10 day itinerary from Marrakech begins with a view of the Atlas Mountains as we make our way through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass towards Ait Ben Haddou, a Unesco World Heritage site that has been featured in movies like Gladiator and the well-known HBO series Game of Thrones.
The next stop is Ouarzazate, where we will see the Atlas Film Studios and a Kasbah. From Marrakech, we will continue our tour to the Valley of the Roses, known for its annual Festival of the Roses, and then we will travel to the Dades Gorge, where we will spend the night in a hotel or riad.
Day 3: Dades Gorges | Todra Gorges | Erfoud | Merzouga Sahara | 4 h (270.5 km)
After breakfast, we will continue to Todra Gorge, a vibrant and attractive gorge well known to outdoor enthusiasts. To go to Erfoud, an oasis village considered the gateway to the Sahara desert and famous for its distinctive fossils, we will drive through the Ziz Valley to Rissani to visit the local souk before continuing to Merzouga through the desert.
After stopping at Camel Place, we will get out of the car and ride a camel through the sand dunes, guided by expert drivers, to the Merzouga desert camp, where we will spend the night in the camp. A distinctive and traditional Berber dinner, culminating with tribal music around a desert campfire, will make this wonderful evening unforgettable.
Day 4: Merzouga Desert Tour (40 km)
Desert Camp off-road Tour and visit the nomadic Camel Trek: Take an off-road desert tour around Erg-Chebbi dunes to visit the nomadic families still living in the desert. Afternoon: return to the hostel next to the impressive dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi) and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 5: Merzouga | Midelt | 4 h (264.7 km)
We will leave the hotel after breakfast and pass through Rissani and Erfoud before stopping for lunch in Midelt in the Atlas Mountains. After that, you can continue your exploration of Midelt on your own. Hotel for the night.
Day 6: Midelt | Fez | 3 h 19 min (198.0 km)
We will continue our exploration of Midelt today before continuing to Azrou, where we will stop to look around a forest for local wild monkeys. After there, we will travel to Ifrane and then to Fes, where we will spend the night in the hotel or Riad.
Day 7: Guide Tour In Fes
Today, we will walk through the alleys and narrow streets of the oldest Moroccan city while learning more about it. Visits to the Jewish Quarter, Al Karaouine University, the tanneries, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum are just a few of the cultural and historical landmarks included on the sightseeing itinerary.
The intriguing medina can be explored in the afternoon before dining at a nearby restaurant. We will spend the night in a neighborhood riad or hotel in Fez.
Day 8: Fez | Chefchaouen | 3 h 47 min (211.6 km)
Today we head from Fez to Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains. We will explore the Chefchaouen medina and spend the night in a local riad or hotel.
Day 9: Chefchaouen | Rabat | Casablanca | 4 hours, 52 minutes (340.8 km)
After having breakfast and spending the first half of the afternoon in Chefchaouen, we will head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, to see the main sights of the city. Before proceeding to Casablanca, the capital and largest city of Morocco, where we will spend the night, we may stop there for lunch.
Day 10: Casablanca | Marrakech | 2 hours, 44 minutes (241.6 km)
We will end a Morocco 10 day itinerary from Marrakech to the Merzouga Desert with sights and sites in Casablanca today, including the Hassan II Mosque. Then, after a meal at a nearby restaurant, we will travel back to Marrakech.
