4 Days Tour from Marrakech Itinerary
DAY 1: Marrakech | Tizi-n-Tichka | kasbah Ait Benhaddou | Ouarzazate | Roses Valley | Dadès Gorges
After breakfast, depart with the driver or guide from your riad or hotel in Marrakech, passing the mountains of the Grand Atlas, until arriving at the Tizi n Tichka at an altitude of 2,260m (the highest mountain pass in the Atlas). We will then continue south to arrive at the Kasbah of Ait-Ben-Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco, where we will make a short visit. The tour will continue to Ouarzazate.
In the vicinity of the town are the Atlas Film Corporation Studios and the Cinecittà of Morocco, where several films set in the desert were and are still being filmed. The journey will continue towards the Dades Valley, crossing the Rose Valley, famous for the cultivation of the Damascena rose, from which the essence is extracted for the production of many cosmetics. We will visit the Dades Gorges. Dinner and overnight in the riad or hotel.
DAY 2: Dadès Gorges, Tinghir, Todra Gorges, Tinejdad, Erfoud and Merzouga
Today is the second day of the 4-day tour from Marrakech. After breakfast, depart from the Dadès Valley and continue towards the Todra Gorges. We will then continue towards the city of Erfoud, located at the gates of the desert, also called the city of fossils, due to the territory rich in fossil stones.
Arrival in the afternoon in the village of Merzouga for a shortstop in a riad or hotel. Before sunset, depart on the back of a dromedary to reach the Berber tents, also called “Haima,” where dinner will be served under the stars and where you will listen to traditional Berber music played with percussion. Overnight at the Desert Luxury camp.
DAY 3: Merzouga Desert, Alnif, N’kob, Draa Valley and Ouarzazate
Wake up at dawn to watch the sun rise in the middle of the dunes. Return to the camp for breakfast, and you can take a hot shower.
In the morning, depart in the direction of Rissani, where you can visit the famous and lively market. Continuation towards Ouarzazate, crossing the Draa Valley, full of palm groves and Berber villages. Arrival in Ouarzazate in the afternoon. Free visit to Atlas Studios. Dinner and overnight in the riad or hotel.
DAY 4: Ouarzazate, Berber Villages, Atlas Mountains and Marrakech
After breakfast departure from Ouarzazate, towards the outskirts of Ouarzazate,we will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the museum. Then depart in the direction of Marrakech, crossing the mountains of the Grande Atlas again and Berber villages, to return to Marrakech in the evening and end our 4-day tour from Marrakech.
